Through small acts of liberation, the intention is to suppress initial emotions; the photographic paper occupies the place of object and victim, revealing intimate details of personal emotions.
In psychology, trieb (or drive) refers to the psychic impulse that has its source in an internal excitement -a state of tension- and that has a single purpose: to suppress or calm that state of tension. The drive makes use of an object to achieve this end, which, however, is not a precise one, nor is it predetermined.

En sicología, trieb (o pulsión) se refiere al impulso psíquico que tiene su fuente en una excitación interna -un estado de tensión- y que se dirige a un único fin preciso: suprimir o calmar ese estado de tensión. Para lograr este fin, la pulsión se sirve de un objeto, el que sin embargo no es uno preciso, ni está predeterminado.
